Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular ultrasound exams, using ultrasound equipment and testing modalities.

Candidates should hold an Associate’s Degree in Sonography and ARDMS/CCI certifications, with BLS within 30 days of hire. The role includes cross-training within CV Services, on-call nights and weekends, and off-site mobile rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Sonography or equivalent is required.
• ARDMS RVT-VT, CCI RVS certifications preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs varied vascular ultrasound imaging procedures per orders and protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients and participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness between patients.
• Document findings to communicate with physicians.
