Job summary

Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) to perform a full range of diagnostic vascular exams in a dedicated lab under board-certified surgeons.

Required: RVT credentials, associate degree or equivalent in ultrasound, and ARDMS certifications with 1 year experience in vascular studies. Evening shift, full-time, 40 hours weekly, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• BLS certification required at hire (AHA or ARC).
• ARDMS certifications: S, BS, AB/OB, AB (excludes Cardiac/General/Vascular) with 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations (carotid, peripheral arterial/venous, visceral) in a dedicated lab.
• Work under board-certified reading vascular surgeons.
• May mentor/precept students or other ultrasonographers.

Scope to Work

Perform a full range of diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, peripheral arterial/venous, and visceral vascular studies, in a dedicated vascular lab with board certified reading vascular surgeons. May act as a mentor/preceptor for other ultrasonographers and/or students.

This is a Vascular Ultrasound position; only RVT credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.

• Minimal as gained at student level. Required

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required

• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year required

• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year required Or
