Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York.
• BSN degree preferred according to NYS requirements.
• Specialty credentialing and educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred.
• Maintains licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.
• Participation in continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and coordinate care using a computerized or digital platform for daily management of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge.
• Apply clinical knowledge and critical thinking to support the plan of care.
• Monitor quality metrics and ensure accurate documentation in the patient record.
• Provide care in accordance with NY regulatory agencies and nursing standards.
