Job summary

St. Davids Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a Vascular Technologist PRN to perform comprehensive ultrasound imaging across abdominal, OB, GYN, small parts, prostate and vascular studies.

The role requires attention to protocol, accurate documentation, and collaboration with Radiology to support diagnostic decision making. Candidates should have at least one year of diagnostic medical sonography experience and hold RVT or ARDMS credentials.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer or Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Associates degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Program accreditation for diagnostic medical sonography/vascular technology is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in all areas of ultrasound.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality sonographic studies.
• Identify and image arterial, venous, abdominal, OB/GYN and small parts exams as per protocol.
• Relay patient history and results to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Complete documentation on forms and in computer systems.
• Ensure proper labeling and image identification per protocol.
