Center for Vein Restoration (CVR) in Middletown, CT seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures and produce sonographic images to aid in venous disease evaluation.

The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, maintaining high medical ethics, and delivering compassionate patient care across CVR clinics in Middletown and Glastonbury; day shifts with no nights, weekends, or on-call.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study).
• Mon/Wed CVR Middletown, CT; Tue/Thu CVR Glastonbury, CT; 6:45 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following protocols to produce images and measurements for venous disease evaluation.
• Operates ultrasound equipment daily, upholding medical ethics and striving to increase knowledge of venous disease.
• Produces diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Delivers compassionate, high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
• The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self‑motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
• The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.
