Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform vascular ultrasound studies in a fast-paced clinic. The role focuses on producing high-quality images to assist venous disease diagnosis and treatment.

The position offers a 4-day work week (10 hours per day), no nights, weekends, or on-call, with up to 25% travel to Purcellville campus. Training and relocation assistance are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• Completion of diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular technology program (noninvasive vascular study).
• Tuesday/Thursday in Leesburg; Wednesday/Friday in Purcellville; 6:45am–5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures per standards to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain ethical professional standards.
• Produce diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Provide compassionate patient care and promote excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
• The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
• The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.
