Job summary

CVR Vein Center in Edison, NJ is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures and support diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. You will manage daily ultrasound operations and ensure high-quality images.

The role emphasizes ethics, patient care, and ongoing learning, with a 4-day work week, no nights, weekends, or on-call, and relocation and CME allowances.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (preferred).
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program (Noninvasive Vascular Study).
• New Jersey South PRN; cover Edison, NJ and nearby PA locations as needed.
• 10-hour shifts: 6:45am–5:30pm.
• Monday–Friday (PRN days vary).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures to assist diagnosis.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and maintains quality images.
• Produces hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Provides compassionate patient care and supports clinical teamwork.

Responsibilities

• The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
• The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
• The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements

• Associates Degree (preferred)
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study)
• New Jersey South PRN Position: Available to cover in the following locations as needed: Edison, East Brunswick, Hamilton, Freehold, Lakewood, Northfield, NJ and Horsham, Bensalem, Wayne, and King of Prussia, PA
• 10 hour shifts: 6:45am-5:30pm
• Monday-Friday (PRN days vary)
