Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Opelika, AL is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures and generate images and measurements that support diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.

The Technologist will operate ultrasound equipment, maintain high ethics, and produce diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation, while promoting a compassionate patient environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred and relevant Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required/preferred.
• Noninvasive vascular study training or Cardiovascular Technology background is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostically sound venous images and hemodynamic data.
• Maintain high medical ethics and advance knowledge of venous disease.
• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure accurate measurements for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
• The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
• The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree (preferred)
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study)
• Schedule: CVR Montgomery-Monday/Wednesday7am-5:30pm; CVR Opelika Tuesday/Thursday 7am-5:30pm
