Job summary

Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT is seeking a Procedure Scheduler for Vascular Surgery. The role supports scheduling of complex procedures and pre/post-op activities, with focus on accuracy and compliance.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, in a hospital outpatient setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least three years in medical scheduling, and proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel.

Qualifications

• HS Grad or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of medical scheduling/office experience.
• Experience with medical procedure scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule procedures, tests, and referrals with authorizations.
• Reconcile daily office deposits and financial reports.
• Maintain physician schedules, meetings, and inpatient rounding.
• Complete audits and assist with reporting as needed.
• Schedule and reschedule high-end procedures and surgeries.
• Manage monthly/yearly schedules related to hospital block times and OR coordination.
• Work with Financial Clearance for prior authorizations, self-pay options and payments.
• Fulfill compliance responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned.
