Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a dedicated RN to provide direct patient care for complex cardiovascular surgery patients in a collaborative clinical team in St. Louis.

You will assess needs, plan and implement individualized care plans, and communicate clearly with families and colleagues. The role requires an active RN license, a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and critical care training (BLS, ACLS, arterial line, pacer wires).

Qualifications

• RN license required; no prior experience necessary, 2+ years preferred.
• Critical care training and certification in BLS, ACLS, arterial line, pacer wires.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans and communicate with families.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.
• Participate in safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities.

Job description

Provides direct patient care for complex cardiovascular surgery patients, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures communication across care continuum. Uses advanced nursing skills such as arterial line monitoring and pacer wire management, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and acute care.

Qualifications & Skills:
