Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing complex vascular and cardiovascular procedures. You will assess patient needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans.

Qualifications

Job description

Provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing complex peripheral vascular and cardiovascular surgeries, including aneurysm repairs, carotid procedures, dialysis access, thrombolysis, and bypass surgeries.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educating patients and families on disease management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through active participation in safety initiatives and professional development.
• Using critical thinking and clinical expertise to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, respecting cultural and individual preferences.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
