Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for the Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit. You’ll care for vascular patients, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a high-acuity unit.

The 9 Kaufman IMCU offers opportunities to grow clinically, with resources for PCCN certification and a supportive culture. New grads are welcome to apply with a structured 11-week Transition to Practice and a 6-month residency.

Qualifications

• RN degree or diploma required.
• BSN/MSN preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior RN experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the vascular stepdown IMC unit with telemetry.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes per nursing process.
• Collaborate with transplant program and outpatient center for patient transitions.
• Support professional development and PCCN certification where possible.
