Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit (9K) in Norfolk, VA. This full-time role offers day or night shifts, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus and relocation support.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team in a 24-bed unit specializing in vascular, telemetry, and transplant care. New grads are welcome and supported through orientation and residency programs.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior RN experience preferred.
• Intermediate Care/Stepdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in a high-acuity vascular IMC unit.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Support transitions from intraoperative and transplant pathways.
