Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit (9K), a 24-bed unit providing telemetry, renal/pancreas transplant care, and vascular surgery support. The role offers day or night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a competitive pay range with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Students completing an accredited nursing program may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care on a vascular stepdown unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain patient safety and telemetry monitoring.
