Job description

Join to apply for the Vascular Sonographer role at USA CLINIC SL

As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities (and other studies as needed), balancing patient needs and maintaining an efficient workflow. You will also ensure an excellent service experience for patients.

This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday, with flexible locations including Brookhaven, Midtown, Decatur, Lawrenceville, Alpharetta, Marietta, Austell, and Kennesaw.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients.
3. Set up and clean procedure and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by the treatment plan.
5. Adhere to time standards to maintain patient flow and scheduling efficiency.
6. Coordinate with staff and physicians to ensure ultrasound availability and optimal patient care.
7. Maintain and develop skills through continued education and interaction with colleagues.
8. Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure operational effectiveness.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program.
2. Registered Vascular Technologist, Vascular Specialist, or Phlebology Sonographer, or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
3. Experience or willingness to learn fibroid scanning.
4. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
