Job summary

Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health seeks a skilled sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiology and vascular imaging under supervision. The role requires competency in 2-D and M-Mode echocardiography, color Doppler, and related studies, with emphasis on image quality and patient care.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS/CCI credentials, current BLS, and at least one year of experience in echocardiology or vascular sonography.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Must meet ARDMS/CCI credentialing guidelines (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology and/or vascular ultrasound diagnostics, and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Solves complex problems and exercises judgement based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Recognizes normal and abnormal anatomy and documents pertinent clinical information.
• Works closely with the cardiologist to perform exams and can function independently without supervision.
• Maintains safety and proper documentation, ensuring high-quality images and accurate patient records.
