Qualifications

• Provides diagnostic cardiology/vascular ultrasound imaging.
• Requires ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS.
• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive/invasive cardiology/vascular ultrasound.
• Works with the cardiologist to perform exams and documents findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology/vascular ultrasound exams.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team.
• Document findings accurately in the patient record.
• Adhere to quality control standards and procedures.
• Supervise and orient trainee sonographers as needed.
