Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital is seeking a Sonographer III to perform diagnostic cardiology and vascular imaging with oversight from the Imaging - Echo/Vascular department. The role emphasizes high-quality image acquisition, documentation, and collaboration with physicians.

Required are ARDMS/CCI credentials (RDMS/RDCS/CCI), two years of experience, and BLS certification. The position may involve supervising students and supporting quality control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience in diagnostic imaging or sonography.
• Proficiency in Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams including 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, and Doppler-related techniques.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification and ARDMS/CCI credentials (RDMS/RDCS/CCI).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic cardiology and/or vascular sonographic imaging under supervision to support interpretation.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Interprets anatomy, documents findings, and communicates results with the care team.
• Supervises student sonographers and helps orient new staff.
• Ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate documentation of histories and orders.
