Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Vascular Physicians And Apps team. The APP will work within an interdisciplinary healthcare setting under physician supervision to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care and participate in privileging processes.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, treatment planning, education for patients and families, and active involvement in quality improvement and program development.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
• Current NC license as APRN/PA or eligible.
• Board certification if required by the department.
• DEA registration and prescribing privileges.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, perform exams, and establish differential diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with evidence-based pharmacology per privileging.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with clinicians and students.
• Provide leadership, precepting, and participation in rounds and training.
• Engage in quality improvement and protocol development within the department.
