Job summary

Advocate Health Care invites a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Stanly Venous Access Team. The role requires nursing expertise, patient-focused care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Some weekends/holidays may be required, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour for 5 hours per week.

Minimum education includes a nursing program completion and an active RN license with BLS certification. BSN preferred; prior nursing experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (multi-state or single-state) with practice privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and ensure patient safety.
• Possibly administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrate effective communication and appropriate delegation.
