Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a patient-focused Vascular Access Nurse in Minnesota to perform PICC and Midline placements under physician orders, along with removal, declotting, dressing care and related management.

Requires RN licensure in Minnesota with a minimum of 2 years direct med/surg care and 2 years infusion experience; CPR/BLS; CRNI or VA-BC preferred. 0.70 evenings, alternating weekends, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master's degree program in Nursing.
2 years of direct patient care in a med/surg setting in acute care.
2 years of experience in infusion delivery.
Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

Placement of peripherally inserted central lines (PICC) and Midlines under physician orders.
PICC removal, declotting, dressing application and care.
Assessing patients for PICC indication and managing related procedures.
Participates in performance improvement activities related to PICC practices.
