Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a patient-focused Vascular Access Nurse in Minnesota to perform PICC and Midline placements under physician orders, along with removal, declotting, dressing care and related management.

Requires RN licensure in Minnesota with a minimum of 2 years direct med/surg care and 2 years infusion experience; CPR/BLS; CRNI or VA-BC preferred. 0.70 evenings, alternating weekends, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master's degree program in Nursing.
• 2 years of direct patient care in a med/surg setting in acute care.
• 2 years of experience in infusion delivery.
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Placement of peripherally inserted central lines (PICC) and Midlines under physician orders.
• PICC removal, declotting, dressing application and care.

Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Vascular Access Nurse to join our team and make a difference for our patients and our community. This position performs placement of peripherally inserted central lines (PICC) and Midlines under the order of a physician. Performs other procedures related to PICC management including PICC removal, PICC declotting, dressing application/care and troubleshooting. Assesses and identifies patients for whom a PICC is indicated. Participates in performance improvement activities related to PICC practices and performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule

0.70 Evenings. Every other weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications
