Job summary
VTP Holdings seeks experienced PICC RNs for the Vascular Access Nurse Consultant role. You'll place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance, support treatment objectives, and travel to patient sites as needed.
This full-time position offers 12PM–12AM shifts with weekend/holiday rotation, benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement. USGIV experience is required; PICC certification training is provided for qualified
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with active license
- Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
- Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management and troubleshooting
- American Heart BLS Certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must possess a smart phone
Responsibilities
- Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
- Utilize ECG for PICC tip confirmation
- Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices
- Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting
- Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and CVADs
