Job summary

VTP is seeking a PICC RN to perform ultrasound-guided vascular access with on-site and travel support across facilities. Training is provided for qualifying RNs with recent USGIV experience; no prior PICC experience is required to apply.

Full-time and per diem options available; compensation includes hourly pay plus profit pool, with a sign-on/commitment bonus for eligible candidates. Must have a current RN license and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current, active license.
Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
American Heart BLS Certification.
Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Must possess a smartphone.
Must LOVE vascular access.

Responsibilities

Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
