Job summary

VTP seeks RNs for full-time Vascular Access Nurse Consultant roles. You will place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance, and support vascular access care across hospital and non-hospital settings.

Training for PICC certification is provided for qualified candidates with recent USGIV experience. These roles require strong USGIV history, independent scheduling, and the ability to travel to facilities with a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification.
• Must possess a smart phone.
• Must LOVE vascular access.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
