Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Enfield, CT is seeking an Operations Lead for Value Added Services (i-Health). You will oversee daily VAS activities, including labeling, repackaging, and reverse logistics, while coordinating labor and materials for on-time execution.

You will provide frontline leadership, train associates, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity across the fulfillment center. This role supports growth and continuous improvement within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED; additional education in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, Fulfillment, manufacturing, logistics, or related operational environments.
• Ability to coordinate teams, prioritize work, and deliver results while maintaining safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Experience with value-added services, rework, labeling, repackaging, reverse logistics, or related activities is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and frontline leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily execution of VAS activities including display building, rework, labeling, bundling, repackaging, and reverse logistics.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and workflow to meet customer and business requirements.
• Provide frontline leadership by assigning work, coaching associates, and training.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, inventory, security, and documentation standards.
• Serve as trained backup for inbound receiving, outbound shipping, and fulfillment operations.
• Support continuous improvement to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.
