Deering High School in Portland, ME is seeking an enthusiastic Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach for the 2026-27 season. The assistant will support the Varsity Head Coach and lead the growing junior varsity program.

Applicants must have high school, club, or college coaching experience, have playing experience at high school or college level, and complete the Maine DOE CHRC and NFHS coaching certification courses, plus PPS HR clearance and onboarding prior to employment.

• Coaching experience at high school, club, or college level is preferred.
• Basketball knowledge essential for team development and game strategy.
