Job summary

Lancaster Catholic High School is seeking a Varsity Head Coach for the Baseball program. This role leads a faith-centered, education-based athletics program that emphasizes athletic excellence, personal growth, academic success and spiritual development.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the varsity baseball program, develop players, coordinate practices and games, monitor academics, and align with school mission, policies, and NFHS/PIAA rules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high school/collegiate baseball programs.
• Knowledge of PIAA/NFHS rules and regulations (baseball).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to faith-centered education-based athletics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the varsity baseball program, including practice planning and game preparation.
• Foster a team culture rooted in Catholic values, emphasizing integrity and teamwork.
• Develop player skills, position-specific training, and instructional leadership.
• Maintain professional communication with students, parents, staff, and stakeholders.
• Recruit and grow the program through middle schools and local community connections.
• Support student-athlete academics and personal development in line with school mission.
• Supervise and mentor coaches to ensure consistent coaching philosophy.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and safety best practices.
