Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) seeks a Driver I (Van) to manage route coverage, pickups, and deliveries while maintaining strict chain-of-custody and confidentiality. The role emphasizes safe transportation of assets and accurate documentation per federal, state, and company safety requirements.

Responsibilities include operating company vans and PIT equipment, documenting inspections, and using scanners and management systems to support service commitments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous route driving, delivery, or transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vans to support route coverage, pickups, and deliveries.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks).
• Work directly with customers to fulfill service requests.
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Immediately report on or off duty accidents, citations, or license status changes.
• Utilize handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
• Meet established productivity, timeliness, and accuracy standards.
• Maintain strict customer confidentiality and chain-of-custody procedures.
