Job summary

Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO is seeking a Van Driver/Scheduler to join our compassionate team. This full-time role involves coordinating resident transportation and planning trips to support engaging activities for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• If operating company vehicle you must be twenty-one (21) years of age, have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines and daily assignments, using various department supplies and equipment, as assigned by the Activities Director.
• Assist with planning and scheduling trips and outside activities; arrange for transportation and resident supervision.
• Implement any activity schedule changes; notify appropriate departments.
• Assist with activities programming in cooperation with other departments concerning individual resident needs.

Pay Range: $19.50 - $23.50 per hour based on experience.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enjoy working with the elderly; minimum one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• If operating company vehicle you must be twenty-one (21) years of age, meet the MVR organization standards, have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the transportation industry.
• Able to read and understand maps and routing information.
• Able to handle information in a confidential manner at all times.
