Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a compassionate Van Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings and special events, while assisting them with boarding and exiting the van, including wheelchair securement. You will follow schedules and coordinate timely pick-ups and drop-offs, observing residents during transport and reporting concerns to nursing staff.

Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and communicate daily with nursing and facility teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License with Class D – Chauffeur Endorsement.
• Not more than 2 traffic violations within the last 3 years
• No previous driving while under the influence convictions
• CPR and first aid certification or willingness to accomplish

• Maintain reliable attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends
