Job summary

Graduate Post Acute in Philadelphia is seeking a Van Driver for full-time, on-site work. You will transport residents to appointments and approved destinations, assist them in and out of the vehicle, and ensure safety and comfort.

Starting pay ranges from $15.49 to $20 per hour with daily pay options. The role requires 18+ with a valid license, a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of patient transport experience. Join a compassionate team devoted to high-quality elder care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record and safe driving practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience transporting patients to medical appointments.
• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Strong desire to work with and support the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and approved destinations in facility vehicles.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operational vehicle in accordance with facility and safety standards.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility transportation policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate any delays or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being during all phases of transport.
