Job summary

Seacrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Van Driver for a per diem position. The role focuses on safe, timely transportation of residents to medical appointments and other approved destinations, in facility vehicles, with courteous and respectful interactions.

The driver must be 18+, hold a valid license, have a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of patient-transport experience. Join a team dedicated to compassionate elder care and quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience transporting patients to and from medical appointments required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and approved destinations in facility vehicles.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operational vehicle in accordance with facility and safety standards.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility transportation policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate any delays or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being during all phases of transport.

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and approved destinations in facility vehicles.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed while ensuring safety and comfort.
