Job summary

Graduate Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to transport residents to medical appointments and other approved destinations in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. The role requires a genuine commitment to resident welfare and adherence to safety standards.

Starting pay ranges from $15.49 to $20 per hour, with a daily pay option. The facility emphasizes compassion, respect, and excellence in its care approach and offers a supportive work environment for staff and residents alike.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience transporting patients to and from medical appointments.
• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and approved destinations in facility vehicles.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and operational vehicle in accordance with facility and safety standards.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility transportation policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain timely transportation schedules and communicate any delays or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being during all phases of transport.
