Job summary

Drury Hotels in Nashville is seeking a part-time shuttle driver to transport guests to and from the airport and assist with luggage and guest information. You will ensure a clean, well-maintained van and deliver friendly, attentive service to every guest.

Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 1:30am are required, with potential for additional hours based on performance. This role supports our team and enhances the guest experience at our Drury Inn & Suites location in Nashville.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays (5pm–1:30am).
• Part-time availability with potential for more hours based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hotel shuttle van to transport guests to/from the airport.
• Assist with loading/unloading guest luggage.
• Provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
• Keep the van clean and report maintenance issues.
• Deliver courteous, friendly service to create a positive guest experience.

BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:

• Under general supervision, operates the hotel shuttle van to provide guests and potential guests with convenient and reliable transportation to and from the airport while following Company policies and procedures.
• Van drivers welcome and create a positive first/last impression upon guest arrival/departure.
• This function includes assisting with loading and unloading of guest luggage, providing information in regard to the hotel’s facilities and events and directions to local attractions.
• Ensure the van is clean and in like new condition at all times including assisting with monitoring routine maintenance and immediately reporting in mechanical concerns.
• Ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, friendly service to all guests while welcoming guests to the city.
• Responds promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude.
• Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team and guests.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

• Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.
• Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, relaxing, efficient environment.
• Must maintain a good driving record and notify management immediately of any changes in your record.
