Job summary

Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport is seeking a Bellperson/Driver to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage, and ensure a smooth start to every stay. This role may be full-time or part-time, requiring a valid driver's license and a commitment to outstanding service.

You will shuttle guests, answer questions about local attractions, coordinate with team members, and help maintain lobby and public areas.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to walk, talk, stand, sit, stoop, and drive.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; understand requests and provide accurate information.
• Transport guests to and from the hotel using the designated shuttle/van.
• Assist guests with lifting and carrying luggage to rooms or bell closet as needed.
• Provide information about hotel services and local attractions to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Report needed repairs and/or service for shuttle/van; adhere to all policies.

The Bellperson/Driver greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay, as well as ensuring the guest has an exceptional stay, to meet hotel’s high standards of quality.

Job Description

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions.
• Transport guests to and from the hotel using the designated shuttle/van.
• Assist guests by lifting and carrying guest baggage on and off the shuttle van, to room, or in bell closet as needed.
• Provide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, attractions, directions, etc. in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Report any needed repairs and/or service of the shuttle/van. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook).
• Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, atrium, and other hotel areas when need.
• Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
