Job summary

Double Tree by Hilton Worthington is seeking a Van Driver to transport guests within the property and local areas. You will assist with check-ins/outs and provide information on services and local attractions, reporting to the Front Desk Manager.

The role requires a valid driver's license, excellent customer service, and the ability to work PM nights, weekends, and holidays. Uniform and grooming standards apply. Training will be provided for safety and customer service excellence.

• Excellent customer service skills and greet guests with a pleasant demeanor.
• Uniform and Name Tag must be worn at all times; maintain high grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests about the premises or local areas in scheduled van runs.

• Open the cab door for arriving and departing guests.
• Drive the shuttle van on assigned and scheduled runs.
• Monitor upkeep, service maintenance and cleanliness of shuttle van.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

The primary duties of the Van Driver are to transports guests about the premises or local areas in scheduled van runs. Assist with check in/outs as needed. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager the following is required:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Must be able to work PM (nights), weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver license and pass BMV driver Background Check.
• Excellent customer services skills and greet guests' with a pleasant demeanor.
• Open the cab door for arriving and departing guests.
• Drive the shuttle van on assigned and scheduled runs.
• Monitor the upkeep, service maintenance and cleanliness of shuttle van.
• Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with hand luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Uniform and Name Tag must be worn at all times. Maintain high standards of grooming and personal appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
