Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time delivery driver to handle meals, equipment, and other items using a program vehicle.

You will ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and assist older adults and disabled individuals while coordinating with clients and staff. A High School diploma and map-reading ability are required, with successful completion of driving tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to navigate using a map.
• Must pass Agency's defensive driving test.
• Must pass cargo van driving test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up meals and items to locations in Central Ohio using program vehicle.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and pickups according to schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the program vehicle.
• Communicate with clients and staff to coordinate delivery and pickup schedules.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Assist older adults and handicapped individuals with deliveries, ensuring safety.
• Complete documentation and reports related to deliveries and pickups.
• Participate in defensive driving and cargo van tests to ensure safety standards.

Job Purpose:

• Delivering and picking up meals, equipment, and other assigned items to locations in Central Ohio using program vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering and picking up meals and other assigned items to locations in Central Ohio using program vehicle.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickup of items as per schedule.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the program vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff to coordinate delivery and pickup schedules.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Assist older adults and handicapped individuals with the delivery and pickup process, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Complete necessary documentation and reports related to deliveries and pickups.
• Participate in agency's defensive driving and cargo van driving tests to ensure compliance with safety standards.
