Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation is seeking a Valve Technician to perform assembly, repair, and certification of valves in shop and at customer facilities. In-house and factory training are provided, with potential field assignments and opportunities for growth across multiple facilities.

The role requires safety-minded individuals able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in hot/cold environments, and travel as needed. Prior valve experience and forklift certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school degree encouraged.
• Able to learn the trade and use hand and power tools.
• Safety and quality procedures adherence required.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions precisely.
• Capable of travelling to customer sites and maintaining a clean driving record.
• Forklift operation certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Disassemble, repair, and certify valves per manuals in shop and at customer sites.
• Operate equipment and tools (hoists, sand blaster, torch, etc.).
• Document job data in the ValvKeep system and photograph work.
• Coordinate with office staff on repair requirements and timelines.
• Maintain organized work area and assist with field assignments as needed.
