Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Valve Technician to perform essential valve assembly, repair and certification in a shop setting and on customer sites. You will disassemble, reassemble, calibrate and test valves to manufacturer manuals, using hoists, tools and follow safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn the trade, and experience with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical or trade school is a plus.
• Ability to learn the trade and work with hand and power tools.
• Must be able to travel and maintain a clear driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot/cold environments.
• Forklift operation certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Disassemble valves without damaging parts.
• Assemble, calibrate, and certify valves per manuals.
• Document repairs and data entry; may work onsite at customer facilities.
• Attend job and safety trainings as required.
• Operate shop equipment and assist in field assignments.
