Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation, a division of Flow Control Group, is seeking a Valve Technician to perform valve assembly, repair and certification in a shop setting and onsite at customer facilities. The role includes in-house training and factory-supported training, with potential for upward growth within the organization.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, travel as required, and work safely in varying environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school/technical training preferred.
• Ability to learn the trade and work with hand and power tools.
• Safe working attitude and attention to detail required.
• Basic computer familiarity for data entry and routines.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Operate shop equipment and perform valve assembly, repair and certification.
• Disassemble and reassemble valves per manuals; document and photograph work.
• Coordinate with office on repair requirements and ensure clean, organized workspace.
• May perform field assignments and travel as needed.
