Job summary

ValvTechnologies in Georgia is seeking a skilled Painter/Sandblaster to prepare and finish valve components in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

You will clean, prime and paint valves, operate a blast cabinet and forklift as needed, and ensure parts are free of dust and ready for final assembly. Candidates should have 1+ years of Painter/Sandblasting experience. May perform other work-related tasks as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Painter/Sandblasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and wipe down valves.
• Tape all ID tags and lever.
• Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves.
• Prime valves and let dry.
• Paint valves and let dry.
• Remove all tape and blow off valves making sure they are free of dust and grit.
• Clean lever and place valve on pallet.
• Operate Forklift when needed.
• Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts.
