Job summary

ValvTechnologies, LLC is seeking a production team member to perform painting and sandblasting tasks on valves. The role includes cleaning, tagging, priming, painting, and finishing valves and ensuring dust-free, high-quality results.

Responsibilities involve operating a blast cabinet and forklift as needed, placing finished valves on pallets, and adhering to health and safety standards. Prior painter/sandblasting experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Painter/Sandblasting experience.
• Experience operating forklift is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and wipe down valves.
• Tape all ID tags and lever.
• Prime, paint, and dry valves as required.
• Remove tape and blow off valves to ensure cleanliness.
• Place valves on pallet after cleaning.
• May perform other work-related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate forklift when needed.
• Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts.

Job description

• Strives to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards
• Clean and wipe down valves
• Tape all ID tags and lever
• Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves
• Prime valves and let dry
• Paint valves and let dry
• Remove all tape and blow off valves making sure they are free of dust and grit.
• Clean lever and place valve on pallet
• May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
• Operate Forklift when needed
• Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts

Core Qualifications:

1+ years of Painter/Sandblasting experience
