Job summary

Vital Link, Inc. is seeking a Painter/Blaster II to ensure proper finishing of assemblies, including painting and galvanizing, prior to shipment. Experience with air and airless spray painting and operating paint equipment is essential, along with ability to follow MSDS and Safety guidelines.

The role requires manual handling of heavy materials, use of overhead cranes and forklifts, and coordination with multiple departments to maintain quality finish standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in paint equipment application, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with spray painting and finishing processes is essential.
• Must understand MSDS and safety procedures during finishing work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and blast parts per shop drawings and instructions.
• Prime and paint assemblies per specs and procedures.
• Follow work control sheets and document steps and inspections.
• Coordinate supplies and equipment with supervisors.
• Maintain finish area and paint shed; ensure safe, orderly operations.
• Assist with loading for galvanizing and shipment.
