Qualifications

• Proficiency in paint equipment application, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience blending various coatings to reduce application issues.
• Preference for 3+ years of related experience in finishing operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts and assemblies are cleaned, blasted, primed and painted per shop drawings and instructions.
• Follow and document steps on work control sheets and guidelines; maintain part identification during finish work.
• Notify supervision about supplies and report design or detail errors.
• Design fixtures and supports for during finish work; coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain safety practices and report equipment issues to maintenance or management.
• Halt production if safety is compromised and keep the finish area organized.
