Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Industrial Painter to prep and coat carbon steel frames and brackets, and to operate a blast cabinet for small stainless parts. You will also perform mechanical tasks when painting demand is light.

This role requires wearing PPE including PAPR, proficiency with HLVP painting systems, and the ability to clean and repair painting equipment. You must be willing to work outside of the paint area and to read shop orders and BOMs; teamwork and basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school degree in related trade preferred.
• Industrial coating experience in a factory setting preferred.
• Able to work with PPE including PAPR and respirators.
• Able to operate power tools and read shop orders.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and environmental, health and safety policies.
• Adhere to production work instructions.
• Assist with other departments as needed.
• Coordinate activities with other job classifications.
• Read and understand shop orders and bill of materials.
