Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Fluids Valve Design Engineer at mid-career level to own valve components across their life cycle for lunar transportation missions. You will drive requirements, interfaces, detailed design, and drawing release for flight hardware.

Responsibilities include Creo modeling, GD&T application, analysis coordination, supplier collaboration, and test support. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to qualification efforts within the Lunar Permanence program.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in valve or mechanical/fluids component design.
• Experience with cryogenic and propellant systems is required.
• Ability to apply GD&T to drawings and lead design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own valve designs end-to-end from requirements to flight hardware.
• Perform analyses and coordinate with analysis team for higher-fidelity models.
• Model components in Creo and produce manufacturable drawings.
• Support testing, data analysis, and design iterations.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in peer reviews.
