NYNE Mechanical, a division of NECI, seeks a Service Coordinator to support valve and asset repair operations. You’ll manage customer requests, create work orders, schedule field and shop activity, and help scope and quote repairs. This role emphasizes organization, communication, and a hands-on willingness to learn.

On-site position in Auburn, MA with overtime potential during outages. We offer strong benefits and training to grow in an industrial service environment.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and the willingness to learn.
• Strong computer skills and comfort with new business systems.
• Proven ability to communicate with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency in handling work orders.

Responsibilities

• Scope, quote, schedule, and execute repair and service work with customers and teams.
• Create, manage, and update work orders for valve and asset repair jobs.
• Coordinate shop and field service activity from initial request to closeout.
• Communicate schedule and scope changes to customers and stakeholders.
• Use the IFS system to generate proposals, orders, and purchase orders.
• Support post‑job reconciliation, service reporting, and repair documentation.
• Ensure repair orders and subcontractor scopes are complete and accurate.
• Maintain organized customer records and service documentation.
• Learn fundamentals of valve repair, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
