Job summary

NYNE Mechanical, a division of NECI, is seeking a Field Service Valve Technician to support valve repair and service work in the field and in the shop in Auburn, MA. You will troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, calibrate, and test safety relief valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and computer skills, including Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, teardown, repair, assembly, calibration, and testing of valves and actuators.
• Diagnose failures and recommend the proper repair scope.
• Complete field service work safely and ensure repairs meet applicable code and customer requirements.
• Document repair, testing, and service activity in real time using photos, reports, and work order records.
• Maintain field service equipment, tooling, trucks, and trailers in ready-to-work condition.
• Support inventory, final inspection, packaging, shipping, and general shop operations.
• Help maintain strong housekeeping, 5S, and safety standards.
