Job summary

Ultra Maritime in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a value stream, safely producing quality defense products while championing continuous improvement. Schedule: Mon–Thu 5:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m. with overtime on Fridays.

You will drive lean and agile initiatives, mentor the team, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and have supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing, with strong data analysis,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with Lean or Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven solutions.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team within the value stream and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Implement Lean or Agile methods to optimize processes within the value stream.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Work with quality assurance to ensure products meet defined quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary.
